Our promise
- You never need an account. We do not ask for your name, phone number or email, and we never store your location.
- We keep only what the app needs, and old data is deleted automatically, after 1 year at the latest.
- We never sell your data. There are no ads and no tracking.
What we collect and why
- A random app number. The app makes it on your phone the first time it opens. It is not your phone's serial number or advertising number. We use it to stop abuse (for example, one report per station per day) and to count, without names, how many phones use the app and which stations people open. For those counts we keep only a scrambled copy.
- Your location. It stays on your phone to show nearby stations and distances. When you send a report, the line status or "is a charger free?", your location is sent once, only to check that you are at the station. We do not store it.
- Reports. The reason, your short text and, if you add one, a photo of the price board. We remove hidden data (such as where the photo was taken) from the photo. Reports are deleted after 30 days. A report that belongs to an open case is kept until the case is closed and then for up to 90 more days. Photos are deleted when their report is deleted.
- Line status and "is a charger free?" answers. Deleted after 30 days.
- Fuel quality feedback. The text you write. It is private: only that station's owner, staff they allow, and our admin can read it. The admin can delete it at any time. It is deleted after 1 year.
- Your network address (IP). Used only for limits against spam. We keep a scrambled copy for up to 30 days.
- Crash reports. If the app crashes, it sends technical details: what went wrong, the phone model and the system version. No name, no location. This uses Firebase Crashlytics (Google).
On your phone only (never sent to us): your favorite stations, language, light or dark look, your car's plugs and notification choices. They are gone when you delete the app. To deliver notifications, Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging knows which stations, kinds and language your phone follows, but not who you are.
Station owners and staff
If you have an owner or staff account, we also keep:
- your name, your email (owners) or username (staff), and your phone number (owners; only our admin sees it);
- your password, stored only in scrambled form by our login service;
- what you change in the app (prices, products, station details), with the time, so the station has a change history;
- your phone's notification key, so we can tell you about new reports (deleted when you sign out);
- your acceptance of the station owner terms.
If you send "request access", we keep your name, station name, city, phone and note, so our admin can contact you. It is deleted after 1 year.
How long we keep data
- Line status and "is a charger free?" answers: 30 days.
- Reports: 30 days, or up to 90 days after their case is closed.
- Everything else we collect is deleted automatically after 1 year at the latest: fuel quality feedback, access requests, report cases, penalties and appeals, name and place change requests, the change history, messages from our admin and statistics.
- Kept while needed: owner and staff accounts (until they are deleted), your acceptance of the station owner terms (while your account exists), and station details and prices (while the station is in the app).
Who can see what
- Everyone: station names, places, prices, opening hours, services and public labels.
- Only the station's owner and allowed staff: feedback about their station and reports about their station (without who sent them).
- Only our admin: everything needed to run the app, such as reports, accounts and statistics.
Services we use
- Supabase: our database and servers, in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Google: Google Maps for the map, and Firebase for crash reports, App Check (a check that requests come from the real app) and Cloud Messaging (delivers notifications).
- Apple: App Attest (the same check on iPhones).
- Cloudflare: protection of our network.
- Resend: sends password codes by email to station owners.
Your choices
- You can turn off location in your phone's settings. The map and list still work.
- Owners and staff can delete their account in the app: My account › Delete my account. Staff accounts are deleted at once. For owners, our admin deletes the account; the station stays in the app without an owner.
- For any other question or deletion request, write to ayndatech@ayndatech.com.
